Project TE₦ for KEM

So this December we're trying to be there for our friend once again.

I guess you thought it was over... I wish it was too, but we still got a little more distance to cover.

Alright, let me bring you up to speed quickly.

Since Kemi’s lasts out in in India, she has been progressing with some medication she came back with from India; like immunotherapy, other drugs and supplements recommended by managers in India, and administered by Specialists here in Nigeria since her return.

Time has passed, months have gone and she's out of medication now. In fact, she needs to run a series of tests to ascertain her a present bill of health.

Kemi is currently attending a Specialist Cancer Center (Marcelle Ruth) in Lagos, the best we have in the country, and this comes with a load of cost. But as you know, our only option is to continuously seek the best treatment for her here in Nigeria, and abroad if need be. Her current needs are now;

1.  Funds to carry out tests already are marked by the cancer center.

2. Funds to purchase medication, precisely immunotherapy treatment, to keep the cancer cells under control, until she can afford the prescribed surgery, hopefully in Quarter one, 2025.

So quickly, what is “Project 10 for Kem” all about?

With this Project;
 we're looking to have each person donate at least 10,000 Naira towards Kemi’s treatment this December.

We are also looking at having 10 friends come together to pull funds together for Kemi. Yes, we need a cohort of 10 from your various circle of influence, that can pull together any sum for Kemi.

if we could get 10 people for Kemi who could raise any amount, say 10,000, 20,000, or 100 thousand for example, which by ten leaves us with 1 million Naira…

All of these funds will be going into her health management pending the time we can raise funds ultimately for her scheduled surgery.

So this is what we hope to do this December. We're pleading and asking that we make this a December project, a Christmas project, for your little will go a long way to help with the financial burdens on Kemi, and her family, the burdens they  currently bear.

Her account number will always be on the posters, flyers and every other campaign materials that we’ll be rolling out for this project.

Please Kemi is counting on you.
Her friends are counting on you. Everyone is counting on everyone to make this dream come true, to keep Kemi’s hopes alive.

Like I always tell her, “You cannot afford to give up now, Kemi. Yours is to keep taking the treatments, ours is to keep doing our best to raise the funds you need to stay alive, and most importantly defeat cancer in the end.”

SHE REQUESTS YOUR PRAYERS & INTERCESSIONS TOO. 🙏🏾

I look forward to seeing Kemi wear the tag  “I defeated cancer”, and I know you wish the same and you're looking forward to the same.

God bless you,

Kemi really appreciates this, thank you all!

HELP KEMI FIGHT CANCER!!!

M y name is Oluwakemi Adegbaso, I am 36years old. From Idanre, Ondo State. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing University of Uyo, Akwa-Ibom state, I have lived a healthy life since birth up until the year 2022 when I began to experience some discomfort in my throat, accompanied with difficulty to swallow. At first, I thought it was ‘just’ a sore throat or other bacterial infection. Like most people will do, I sought generic antibiotics to treat the ‘infection’. But the pain during swallowing got worse and this painful experience lingered on for weeks. Early in 2023, things took a downward turn, and my health began to deteriorate, with obvious weight-loss as I could barely eat anything through my mouth. On a visit to a private hospital, a CT-Scan to ascertain the true state of what was going on in my throat was recommended. By and large, I was admitted to the Federal Medical Centre, Owo, Ondo State where I underwent series of tests and medical examinations. Alas! the soul-wrecking b...

I AM GETTING BETTER BY THE DAY!!!

 Dear All, Dear Friends, I'm here to say a big THANK YOU to everyone, for your kind donations towards my treatment so far. Without your donations I won't have made it this far. Thus far in India, I have been able to undergo CYBER-KNIFE treatment, sessions of IMMUNOTHERAPY and 3 full cycles of CHEMOTHERAPY I’m thankful to God Almighty that I am getting better and better by the day, even though there’s still more treatment and procedures I need to undergo before my SPEECH is restored, and I can be declared CANCER FREE.🤞🏾 As you already know, I’ve been advised to return to  Nigeria, so I can continue my treatment back home, as I’m not financially capable to sustain a continuous stay in India. Right now, I’m in dire need funds to purchase more chemotherapy,  immunotherapy and a few other DISCHARGE DRUGS to return along with to Nigeria. I also need funds to register in a reputable Cancer Centre in Nigeria to continue my treatment on arrival.  I humbly solicit your kind ...

TRYING TIMES FOR KEMI

 Dear Friends,  Dear World, Two weeks have passed in the quest to raise an outstanding of $8975, being debt owed the Hospital where Kemi has been receiving cancer treatment in India. It has been one challenging day after another, as Kemi and her Carer edge inevitably closer to being handed over to the Indian Immigration Police (FRRO). As we speak, both their passports and other travel documents have being withheld/seized by the hospital in lieu of payment. It’s unclear how this will turn out at Immigration later this week in the face of obvious lack of funds to pay her debt. Frantic efforts are being made to secure organisational support for Kemi, the Nigeria in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) have been contacted, The Nigeria High Commission in India, amongst other private efforts, but none has yielded any positive results till date.  Hence, our biggest support base, which is YOU (The General Public) remains the only place to run to in the face of confusion. To assist Kemi a...
